SBEMP represents public agencies as city attorney or special counsel on litigation matters. As counsel to cities and public agencies, our attorneys advise public officials on a number of important issues, including Brown Act compliance, Code Compliance, development review and approval, and Proposition 218 issues, among others. As litigation counsel, SBEMP has represented various public agencies defend challenges to ordinances and other legislation, disputes involving public and private development projects, air quality control issues, and prosecuted code enforcement actions.
