Donna J. Sanchez
Donna Sanchez grew up, attended school, and raised her children in the Coachella Valley; and has lived in Indio with her husband since 1987. Donna began her legal career in the early 1980s working for the Indio Superior Court as a court clerk. She attended College of the Desert and received her Paralegal Certificate from Muir Technical College in Palm Desert. Prior to joining Slovak Baron Empey Murphy & Pinkney, Donna worked as a litigation and transactional paralegal from specialty boutique firms to three of the larger Coachella Valley law firms.
With more than three decades of legal experience working in the Coachella Valley, Donna understands the multiple facets within the practice of law. From in-office strategy conferences with the attorneys and clients, from research, to drafting of discovery and legal pleadings, document management, trial preparation, to trial experience. Donna holds a keen understanding of the procedural aspects of litigation. She has created a litigation readiness system with risk management controls which provides the assurance to the clients and the attorneys at SBEMP that each matter will be handled with the utmost care. Donna assists the legal team with litigation and transactional matters involving real estate, estate planning documentation, business entity formation, and annual compliance requirements. As a Notary, Donna provides clients needing notary serves, if it be real estate related or estate planning related, an added in-office service.
