Amber Cameron Portolesi is a seasoned attorney serving clients throughout the Coachella Valley. With over 20 years in the legal field, Amber provides trusted guidance in family law matters and civil areas, combining compassion, strategic insight, and strong advocacy.
Ms. Portolesi has a broad range of legal experience including family law/probate matters and mediation/conflict resolution, civil matters related to business endeavors, contractual formation and disputes, and real estate issues. She is a California licensed Real Estate Broker and has owned multiple businesses.
Amber began her legal career in a small boutique law firm, where she gained hands-on experience across a broad spectrum of legal matters. In 2008, she formed the partnership Keller & Kaimer, APC, focusing primarily on family law. From 2015 to 2025, she ran her own solo practice, A Cameron Law Firm, APC, representing clients in a wide range of family law and civil cases. She now brings that depth of experience to Slovak Baron Empey Murphy & Pinkney LLP, continuing her commitment to achieving strong outcomes for her clients.
Amber has served as court-appointed Minor’s Counsel in sensitive custody matters and is known for her thoughtful, grounded approach in even the most complex and emotionally challenging cases. She also served as Vice President and CFO of a family-owned construction and development company, adding valuable business insight to her legal work.

Ms. Portolesi is a dedicated volunteer in the Desert Sands Unified School District, having served in classrooms from elementary through high school for nearly two decades. She has a long history of active involvement in youth leadership through youth sports, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, school presentations, and PTO programs. Ms. Portolesi also supports community events through Sacred Heart Catholic Church and contributes to philanthropic and educational efforts across the region.
