Joseph received his Paralegal Certificate from San Francisco State University, College of Extended Learning, graduating with honors. Joseph has eighteen years of paralegal experience as a litigation paralegal, in a variety of firms, from specialty boutique firms, to several American Law Top 200 law firms. Joseph has experience in all aspects of litigation, from discovery to document management, to trial preparation, to actual trial experience. Joseph began his career specializing in insurance defense of large property claims, and later transitioned to intellectual property litigation, specializing in the technology filed. Since 2009, Joseph has been at Slovak Baron Empey Murphy & Pinkney, where he has participated in a variety of litigation related matter, from contract disputes, to class-action matter, to estate and trust litigation.
